14. Australian work holiday visa

Question: A travel agent in Jalandhar has told me that he can get me a Australian holiday visa that will let me also work in Australia the fee is very reasonable and I want to know more before spending money for this.? Answer: Your travel agent may be referring to what is called the 'Australian Working Holiday Visa' While I am no immigration expert, to the best of my knowledge Indian passport holders cannot get this type of visa. Those wishing to apply for this type of special visa also have to meet some other conditions such as having no dependent children, being between the age of 18 and 30 and also meeting initial financial requirements to maintain themselves while in Australia. Rules and regulations for visa requirements change quite frequently and it is best to check directly with the concerned consulate or get advice from a reputable immigration consultant before spending money. Most foreign government consulates provide information free. The Australian Working Holiday Visa I believe is a special visa that is available to citizens of the following countries: 1. Canada   2.
