Q. hello how are you. i want open my nri account in icici bank. i never come to India long time. this bank reputation is good or not. i need to prove my USA income when i deposit the money in my Indian bank. A. ICICI bank has branches in USA and Canada also. I had an account with them in Canada that I closed due to lack of satisfactory customer service of this bank. Do a search on the Internet for problems with ICICI bank and then decide for yourself. When you deposit money in banks located in the United States amounts over $10,000 require reporting to the tax authorities. Banks who suspect illegal source of funds are legally bound to report such transactions to authorities.
