Question: Dear Sir, I am a British Citizen and want to ask if I want to take a Indian Citizen then can I have dual citizenship of british citizenship Tajinder Kaur
Answer: You can't have Indian and British citizenship at the same time. While UK allows dual citizenship, India does not. If you want to keep your British citizenship the closest thing to Indian citizenship is the overseas citizen of India status (OCI). OCI is not citizenship of India but a lifetime visa for India along with certain other rights that puts you at par with Indian citizens to some extent.
