Q344. Driving in India with Qatar Driving License
Question: Dear Sir / Madam, I am residing in Doha-Qatar (Arabian Gulf) & having valid Qatari Driving License. If I am vising Mumbai / Pune & staying for a month period for some work and if I want to drive a car, can I drive on this valid driving license or I need to take International Driving License from Doha-Qatar? Answer: You need a International driving license as well as your Qatar driving license to drive in India. Qatar Automobiles & Touring Club (QATC) is the authority in Qatar to issue International Driving License, you can obtain a International Driving Permit from any major travel/car rental agents in Qatar.
