Q1005. Short term car import to India from abroad
Question: Hi there, I would like to know if I can import my 10yr old / 2.5cc car to India from UAE for only 20 days. I'm an Indian citizen by birth and I have a valid driving license for both the countries. I'm looking forward for your help regarding my issue. Thank you
Answer: Temporary import of car to India for a short period from abroad can be done under Carnet which is an international customs and temporary export/import document.
