Question: Hello My drawing license expired last 6 year but I was in abroad it possible to renewal
Answer: Indian Driving License is generally valid for 20 years or till the age of 50, whichever is first. Regarding your question on renewal of driving license. • Once a driving license in India expires, renewal should be done within 30 days of the license expiry date without paying a penalty. • Beyond the 30 days period, penalty is payable. However, if the license has been not renewed for 5 years or more, the license holder may be required to apply for a new driving license and go through all the steps necessary to get a fresh driving license.
