Q1048. Change OCI record - Update OCI card to show change of surname after marriage

Question: Dear Sir My wife , married since dec 2001, has OCI status since she is a South African citizen by birth. This was issued according to her passport which had her maiden surname on it. Now she has updated her surname as mine on her South African ID and passport. Now, what is the status of her OCI ?? It says lifelong validity. But her old passport name is reflected. Kindly inform me asap as we are planning to travel abroad in June. Thank you and regards
