Now, i want to change my DOB with the correct documents. but am afraid for the results. Will you help me out? what should i do? is there any penalty? or passport refusal? Please help me, if you can

Answer: Date of birth on Indian passport can be corrected if change requested within five years of issue of first passport. There are some circumstances where there is an exception to this rule, for instance if the passport holder was a minor when passport was issued. Keep in mind that each situation is different and authorities might be interested in the circumstances as to why the incorrect date came into being. If supporting documents for the wrong date were submitted then this might lead to scrutiny by the authorities to find the facts leading to the incorrect information submitted.
