Question: hi, I saw your website, it find useful to me. There is a blunder in my passport, I submit wrong date of birth with false documents. My passport is not expire. it was issued in 2015. Now, i want to change my DOB with the correct documents. but am afraid for the results. Will you help me out? what should i do? is there any penalty? or passport refusal? Please help me, if you can

Answer: Date of birth on Indian passport can be corrected if change requested within five years of issue of first passport.
