I have a question to ask as follows. i live in usa in long time. i have usa citizen and oci card. i want settle in India. can i registered the company in my name and open the business account in India. i want invest in real estate and open my online stock trading company in India. i need anybody permission to open my all business in India. which business i can not open in India. i have hotel business in usa. i want sell after five year. so can i open the business in India and pay the tax to different government. thanks Kiran Sharma Answer: Regards to your questions: You can register a company in your name in India. You can open business account in India You can invest in real estate. The only permission you need is to follow the normal business registration process applicable to open a new business in India. A good accountant should be able to guide you. Opening your own online Stock trading company involves meeting many financial and administrative regulations, answers to which are beyond the scope of this forum. Contact a professional accountant or lawyer for advice. Since you state that you are presently in the hotel business in the USA you may want to consider this line of business in India. There is a tremendous shortage of good hotels in India. Hotel business in India can be very profitable.
