120. Indian Pension for NRI
Question: Dear Sir Dear Sir, My Father aged 65 has a Indian Nationality. He was Government Servant In India, retried and getting pension. He is Living with his son in UK from last 6 years and he want to apply for British Nationality. Do that effect on his pension which he is getting from Indian Government. Regards Vinay Naran Answer: Pension rights of your father should not be affected on acquiring British Citizenship. A persons citizenship has no bearing on their pension rights nor does the country they live in.
