207. Surrender certificate fee Canada

Q: Hi there, Thanks for replying. Sorry, I thought you were an officer that works with the Indian Counsellate. You seem to have a lot of knowledge and information about these matters. So if you think that according to the revised rule of indian government, I should be charged only 20 dollars, then why the employees of the Indian counsellate here in Canada are asking me to pay 241 dollars. What should i do to convince them to do the right thing. Also, can you please tell me that when was the rule revised by the Indian government? Thanks for your time and consideration. Best Regards, Ravinder Minhas A. Use the two links provided above to verify information about fees posted on consular websites. In Canada you need to pay the 20$ fee plus another $21.75 fee to cover the outsourcing charges. HERE is the link to the Indian Consulate in Toronto.
