Q: Dear Mr Chand, Thanks for the valuable information you provided in your website. I just got the Canadian citizenship and as a normal process in need to surrender my Indian passport within three months. I have a valid Saudi Arabia employment visa in my Indian passport as i have started working there, is it possible for me to surrender my Indian passport in Saudi Arabia and apply for OCI from there? Regards -Sam A. Yes! you can surrender your Indian passport to the closest Indian consulate where you reside. You can also apply for OCI from Saudi Arabia even if you hold a Canadian Passport.
