Q.1121 Changes to Aadhaar for linking to Indian bank account for NRI
Question: Hello,
WE (self, my wife and my 2 children) wish to apply for new aadhar cards. Please let me know where we can do our
polygraph for UIDAI in Canada (preferably near Fort McMurray, AB & London, Ontario) after submitting the forms.
We are Canadian citizens having OCIs, PAN cards and proof of local address in India (Kolkata, WB).
Your early action in this regard will be highly appreciated.
Thanks with regards,
Answer: Applications for Aadhaar Card cannot be made from abroad. Presence of applicant in India is required.
Furthermore, NRIs are not eligible for Aadhaar. Only residents of India can apply for Aadhaar.
