Question: Hi , Should an OCI card holder visit UK frequently if working and living outside UK? Answer: As a UK citizen an individual can live anywhere in the world without losing their UK citizenship. Citizenship of UK is for life or until the holder decides to renounce his/her citizenship. The requirement to visit UK if living outside UK applies only to those with ILR who may lose their status if they remain more than two years out of UK.
