Q.1151 OCI shows previous passport number . . .

Question: Dear Sirs, I would be grateful if you could confirm the process of the following; I have an existing OCI passport which contains my old passport number. I have recently obtained a new passport and therefore a new number. In February I travelled with my new passport and existing OCI.
