Q.1194 Open bank account in India & get PAN Card from Germany . . .
Question: Dear Mam/ Sir,
I’m a naturally born Indian with a German passport and I also hold an OCI card.
I have inherited some money in India, in Indian Rupees which I would like to put I to an Indian Bank account.
Q. What will I need in order to open an account in New Delhi, India?
Q. Will I need a Addhar or PAN card. If so, how do I go about getting either of the cards required to open an account.
Can it be applied for in Germany?
Q. Will I be able to remit the interest on the capital in foreign exchange?
Many thanks
