What do the abbreviation stand for?
In case any of you are wondering what some of the abbreviations shown in acceptable Aadhaar documents stand for, check the list
below:
PDA: refers to govt-sponsored chain of shops entrusted with the work of distributing basic food and non-food commodities to the needy
sections of the society.
PSU: government-owned corporations are termed as Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) in India. In a PSU majority (51% or more) of the
paid up share capital is held by central government or by any state government.
NREGS: stands for National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme
CGHS: Central Government Health Scheme)
ECHS: stands for Ex-servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (India).
