Q679. How to file complaint against Indian Bank
Question: Hi there I wish to make a complaint against an Indian bank as an NRI person. Please could you help me and tell me
what to do.
Please also could you redirect me to where the government department which help NRI people complain against Indian banks.
Could u give me some numbers or some address' thank you.

Answer: Complaints against Indian banks can be filed under ‘The Banking Ombudsman Scheme, 2006’

You do not mention the name of the bank you wish to lodge a complaint against, some banks also have their own setup to
receive complaints.
Before you send your complaint to the RBI Ombudsman, you should first complain to the bank. If they do not respond within 30
days or you are not satisfied with their response, then you can go ahead and file your complaint with RBI.
