155. Pan Card Application from Canada

Q: Dear Mr. Chand, We are applying for the PAN Card from Canada. We are Canadian Citizens and we have our OCI cards as well. 1. What would I put down for 'AO' type, area code, range code etc? 2. Also the documents and form have to be sent to the NSDL, PAN unit at Mumbai. What is the correct address? From some research I have come up with 2 addresses. Which is the right one? Income Tax PAN Services Unit National Securities Depository Limited 1st floor,Times Tower Kamala Mills Compound Senapati Bapat Marg Lower Parel (W) Mumbai - 400013'. or Income Tax PAN services unit, UTITSL Plot No.3, Sector 11, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai – 400614 Your help in this is much appreciated. Thank you for your very informative website. Regards, V. Miranda A. Those who are unaware about the AO Code applicable to them, may select default AO Code(DLC-C-35-1) For example: Area Code DLC - AO Type C - Range Code 35 - AO Number 1 Am not sure where you got the two addresses mentioned in your email. The information that I have shows that the application form is sent to: NSDL at 'Income Tax PAN Services Unit National Securities Depository Limited 3rd floor, Sapphire Chambers Near Baner Telephone Exchange Baner, Pune - 411045 Click HERE for information regarding how to fill Application and mailing procedure. When mailing your documents they suggest that you write on the envelope with 'APPLICATION FOR PAN - Acknowledgment Number' This is the number generated when applying online
