163. How foreign students can get NOC for college admission in India
Q: I am an MBBS graduate from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, and I would like to apply for post graduate courses here
in India. However, while browsing through the site for Christian Medical College, Vellore, I read that we need an NOC from Gov
of India to apply. How do i attain an NOC to apply for this entrance exam?
A. Yes! All Non-Indian nationals will have to obtain a 'No Objection Certificate' from the Government of India when seeking
admission to some professional courses, medicine is one of them.
No Objection Certificate (NOC) is issued by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt of India, New Delhi. In order to get this
NOC, students have to submit an application through the principal/Head of Department of the concerned college where they
seek admission.
Applications are sent to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, Nirman Bhavan, New Delhi - 110 001
