Q. Being an PIO holder , can I buy a car in India to use when I am travelling to India where I stay some months every year while my permanent address is abroad. What are the needed documents? Thanks José Remacle A. You can buy a car in India. However you will have to provide a valid Indian address to be shown on the car registration documents. A PAN card would also be required.
