322. UK Citizen getting arms license in India

Q: Hello My question is: That an UK citizen is allowed to buy agriculture land in India? and Can a UK citizen make a arm license in India? If yes then what are the conditions? Thanks Sapan goyal A. UK citizens or non-resident Indians cannot buy agricultural land in India. As far as getting arms license goes, it would depend on the status of the UK citizen living in India. The question normally is the reason for wanting the license. Basically the procedure is to make the application on the designated arms acquisition form (Form A). The application form is sent to the concerned Police station. The Police station makes the necessary inquiries and submit their report to the Zonal District Commissioner of Police who interviews the applicant and submits his report. Once convinced by the reports, the licensing authority issues the license.
