346. Transfer Visa to new passport
Q: My daughter will be travelling to India she just renewed her passport and her old passport has the 10 year VISA. expires in 2018 can she travel with the same visa (carry both the passports) Or should she get visa again! Thanks V.raman A. Transfer of visa is not mandatory. She can carry both passports. Visa can also be transferred to the new passport, the fee for this service is $28 and there may be an additional fee to cover the outsourcing company charges. I believe the total fee in US is $41. ($28 + $13)
