Malaysian driving license

Q: Hi.. I would ask I am a international student from Malaysia which study in India. If I wan to drive a bike in India, is Malaysia driving license accepted? Or should we translate and convert the lisence to India lisence or maybe take the local driving lisence course? Thank you. Jz A. Only tourists visiting India for a short duration of time can drive in India on the basis of their home country issued drivers license and international driving license. While you are studying in India you are a resident of India. To legally drive in India, you should get a valid Indian driving license. Your Malaysian license may not be accepted by the authorities.
