indian citizen " so I can not get it..
so could you please help me in this regards . am i eligible for this ?
Thanks again
Answer: Aadhaar card is for Indian citizens AND foreigners who reside permanently in India. That is foreigners who are
indeed living in India and not simply visiting for a short duration for holidays etc.
Hence regardless of your Canadian citizenship, if at any point of time you start living in India and have an Indian address for
which you have an acceptable form of documentary proof. You would be eligible to apply for Aadhaar card.
The Indian embassy perhaps did not reply to you as Aadhaar is issued within India and Indian consulates abroad have nothing
to do with this procedure.
