Warm regard Ngoc Xuan [May 08, 2016] Answer: Only Indian citizens and OCI holders [those who have registered as an overseas citizen of India and have OCI card] can apply for registration in India to practice in India. Doctors of Indian origin can get an OCI card after successfully completing the OCI application process. The foreign spouse of an Indian citizen can qualify for OCI, so if you are married to an Indian citizen then you may be able to apply for OCI, this is somewhat similar to a lifetime visa for India with some added benefits.
