driving license in Mumbai, India.

Hi Canadian passport + OCI holder residing in Mumbai. Need to apply for IDP to drive in Canada. Documents I have are : Canadian Passport OCI Card PAN Card Aadhaar Card Indian drivers Licence Please let me know how to apply for an IDP and what the cost and procedure is. This is a very urgent requirement as need to travel to Canada within month. I've checked with RTO agents and WIAA and both are clueless. However, I don’t think you can get IDP from India as applicants must have an Indian passport to apply. Western India Automobile Association (WIAA) are authorized to issue International driving permits (IDP) to their members only. Unless you are a member, there is no point in contacting them for issue of IDP. The Motor Vehicle Department of Maharashtra is the other source where International Driving Permits are issued.
