NRIs can deposit any banned currency they hold with RBI until June 30, 2017 at RBI centers in Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, and Nagpur. However, OCIs, PIOs and Foreign citizens are not allowed any facility to deposit or exchange any banned Indian currency notes they may hold.
