Question: Hi sir I have read all the indian law for citizenship And want ti marry a indian girl to get citizenship by registration nut it says to leave 7 year. I will study in india for atleast five year and then get marrie d after two year I am from nepal and I havent got nepali citizenship but want to get indian How can I prove that I have lived india for seven year and then get maried And can I buy property or flat without indian citizenship ??? Here is some information with the assumption that you are perhaps a citizen of Nepal. Under Article 7 of the Treaty of Peace and Friendship between the government of India and the government of Nepal signed in Kathmandu on July 31, 1950: • Nepalese citizens can enter India from Nepal without visa. This gives them free access across the India/Nepal border.
