Q.1145 Can Canadian Resident from India work in USA - NAFTA TN Visa
Question: Hello will appreciate your response to resolve my question. I am a permanent resident of Canada and living in Toronto for last 2 years. I moved here from India. As Canada and US have nafta agreement can I get nafta professional visa to work in usa. Answer: The NAFTA Professional visa [TN Visa] allows employers to hire Canadians. However, my understanding is that Permanent Residents [PR Card holders] are not eligible for this type of visa. Confirm with the authorities what the rules are.
