Question: Hi ..
My name is Ashish.
My daughter has an Australian passport with OCI. Now the passport is about to expire and we are in the process of applying for
a new passport. The old passport has a OCI stamp. How do we go about getting a new stamp on the new passport.
Thanks for your help in advance.
Regards
Ashish
Answer: OCI ‘U’ Visa can be transfered to new passport by using the OCI Miscellaneous Services.
The procedure basically involves
•
Logging in to the OCI Miscellaneous Services website.
•
Filling in the on-line form
•
Printing a hard copy of the on-line form and subsequently submitting the on-line form
•
Pasting the photo, attaching the documents required and mailing the form out the authorities.
•
Once your application is approved and visa documents arrive at the Indian consulate, they will contact you to submit your
