Question: I am due to visit Mumbai shortly & would like
to know if it is possible to apply for the above certificate
there (OCI) Pl let me know how much it will cost &
approx time for the formalities.

Answer: Applications in India for OCI can be made to:
The Foreigner’s Regional Registration Officer (FRRO) in
Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata or Amritsar. OR
OCI Cell in Foreigners Division of Ministry of Home
Affairs at:
Under Secretary (Foreigners Division)
Ministry of Home Affairs,
Jaisalmer House.
26 Man Singh Road,
New Delhi - 110 011

OCI Fee currently is Rs.15,000 for general category. Fee
has to be paid by way of demand draft.
