Q: If oci needs help of some kind in Punjab , India , does he or she go to nri orgnization or some where else ? Jiwan Singh A. The Punjab chief minister has set up a NRI-CELL to help non-resident Indians from Punjab to respond to the problems being faced by NRIs. According to reports, the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister will be the Member Secretary of this cell and his email address is cm@punjabmail.gov.in Punjab police also has an Nri-Cell and you can find out more about them by visiting their website by clicking HERE. NRIs who are from Punjab can also file a complaint online by filling in a form with the Punjab police. To see the form click HERE.
