Q.1142 Aadhaar card linking deadline extended indefinitely by S. Court

Question: Respected Sir, I moved to USA in July 2017 for a period of one year. As per the recent directives, I need to link my aadhaar card to a mobile number and very it using OTP. I can not even access the aadhaar card portal from USA. Plus the number to which my aadhaar card was linked is inactive. I intend to make my travel back to India only in June 2018. Kindly help me to resolve this. Else my India bank account and mobile number might become inoperative. Sincerely, Answer: Hopefully your Indian bank accounts will not be deactivated for failure to link Aadhaar Card. On March 13, 2018. The Supreme Court of India has indefinitely extended the previously set Aadhaar linking deadline of March 31, 2018.
